2019 Colomé 1831 Malbec

James Suckling, James Suckling, March 2022

“Deep nose of rich blackberries, roasted spices, black chocolate and iodine. A rich, full-bodied red with supple fruit and tightly wound but smooth tannins. Naturally concentrated. Just a hint of warmth at the end. Drink or hold.”

2022 Colomé Estate Torrontés

James Suckling, James Suckling, March 2023

“A textured torrontes with refreshing aromatics of lychee, peach and jasmine followed by a hint of wet stones and fresh herbs. Fresh, tangy and slightly saline on the mid-palate with vibrant acidity that delivers succulence and brightness to the medium- to full-bodied palate. Pretty serious. Vegan. Drink now or hold. Screw cap”

2014 Piper-Heidsieck Vintage Brut

Yohan Castaing, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, April 2023

“The 2014 Brut Vintage, a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay with a dosage of seven grams per liter, has turned out nicely with aromas of pear, peach, almonds and smoky hints. Medium to full-bodied, supple and fruity with a delicate mousse, this is a structured, tension-filled but airborne Champagne with high acidity, the sign of a cool weather vintage. Although already thoroughly enjoyable, it should age well over the next five years. Drinking window: 2023-2030.”

2020 Amalaya Gran Corte Malbec

Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, November 2022

“2020 was quite different in the north than in Mendoza, as in Salta it was a rainier year. The harmonious and elegant 2020 Gran Corte shows very well, with nuance and subtleness, serious, with moderate ripeness. It's a blend of Malbec with 9% Cabernet Franc and 6% Tannat that feels very integrated and complementing each other. It matured in neutral, well-seasoned oak barrels for 12 months. A bargain. 100,000 bottles.”

2022 Colomé Estate Torrontés

Ken Hoggins, Ken's Wine Guide, June 2023

“This pale straw colored Torrontes opens with a very fragrant lychee and yellow peach bouquet with hints of papaya, rose petal and grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty lychee, yellow peach, and sage blend with notes of saline and orange zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. I would serve this Torrontes slightly chilled with crispy baked scallops. Enjoy.”
