2007 Bruno Giacosa Spumante Extra Brut

James Suckling, James Suckling, November 2015

“A firm, fruity white with sliced apple, melon and hints of cream. Full body, a lovely bead and a long finish. This is always super quality. Disgorged in March 2015.”

2016 Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis

Monica Larner, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, June 2017

“The 2016 Roero Arneis was bottled on Saint Valentine's Day and that's a fitting touch. Some 140,000 bottles were made, which is more than average. This is a fresh and buoyant wine that is loaded with tangy tropical fruit, pineapple and honeydew melon. The wine's intensity is exuberant, pronounced and refreshing. Dustings of fine mineral and salty limestone characteristics give the wine a brilliant sense of polish and crispness. Bruna Giacosa tells me the fruit harvested in 2016 was beautiful. She distinctly remembers the perfumes of the Arneis grapes as they came into the winery on the back of a truck during harvest. This is a beautiful white wine.”

2015 Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis

Stephanie Johnson, Wine & Spirits, December 2016

“Lemony acidity lifts this wine’s honey and orchard fruit flavors and, along with the waxy texture, gives an impression that’s reminiscent of a Loire chenin. It feels poised and balanced, the pear and apple flavors remaining cool and fresh on the way to a long and elegant finish.”

2015 Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis

Monica Larner, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, June 2016

“The Bruno Giacosa 2015 Roero Arneis is a mineral-driven and beautifully fresh white wine that would taste great on a warm summer evening. The wine sports a luminous golden color that seems slightly more intense in this vintage. The bouquet offers citrus, peach, dried sage and crushed oyster shell. In the mouth, the wine is tangy and crisp.”

2016 Bruno Giacosa Dolcetto d'Alba Falletto

Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, April 2018

“Ripe cherry, blackberry and earth notes mark this fruity red. It's firm as well, yet enjoy this overall for its frank expression of ripe Dolcetto. Drink now through 2020. 598 cases made.”

2012 Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche Riserva

Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, January 2018

“Piercing scents of truffle, rose water, macerated cherry and medicinal herbs are the hallmarks of this elegant red. Less evolved and harmonious on the palate, with a core of sweet fruit and tightly wound, dense tannins. Stays fresh and long on the extended finish. Best from 2022 through 2043. 50 cases imported.”
