2019 Amalaya Blanco

Tim Atkin, March 2020

“One of those wines that I’m always delighted to find on a restaurant wine list, this is a unique blend of Torrontés with 15% Riesling from Amalaya’s vineyards in Cafayate. Zesty, dry and seamlessly combined, it has appealing zip and precision, aromas of white flowers and a lime and orange peel finish. 2020-22”

2020 Amalaya Blanco

Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, October 2020

“A blend of Torrontés and Riesling (15%) from Cafayate, this white makes a statement at a very competitive price. Pale yellow in the glass. The nose suggests lime and orange blossom with hints of rose and tropical fruit. The acidity sticks to the gums as part of a sparky palate and good body. Well-defined floral aftertaste.”

2020 Amalaya Blanco

Joaquín Hidalgo, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, March 2021

“I love the ultra young and fleshy 2020 Malbec that in reality contains 10% Tannat and 5% Petit Verdot. It's ripe without excess and was bottled after one-fourth of the volume spent eight months in oak barrels. So, the effect of the oak is not noticeable in the aromas or flavors, and the wine comes through as fruit-driven and juicy while still keeping the varietal profile. They produced no less than 720,000 bottles of this wine. It was bottled in September 2020.”

Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs

James Suckling, James Suckling, November 2021

“Attractive white-flower and ripe-lemon aromas are married to an elegant, medium-bodied palate, where the creaminess is neatly underlined by the mousse, the lively acidity making the chalky and saline finish very clean and straight. The cuvée is based on the 2016 vintage and this fine Blanc de Blancs was disgorged in 2021. Drink now.”

“Fresh plum nose, deeply colored; fresh, smooth and juicy with generous plum and ripe berry fruit, long and friendly.”

2015 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Rabajà

Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, April 2019

“A savory style, this red offers balsamic aromas of eucalyptus, wild rosemary and fennel, leading to a core of cherry, licorice, tar and tobacco flavors. The tannins are still a bit gruff, but a sense of elegance persists. Best from 2022 through 2042.”

2014 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Asili Riserva

Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, April 2019

“Fluid and juicy, with savory notes of menthol and juniper, matched to the cherry and currant fruit. Underlined by a mineral element, this features a serious whack of tannins on the finish, yet the lasting impression is of sweet, ripe cherry and berry flavors. Wonderful length. Best from 2022 through 2045. From Italy.”

2016 Dutton-Goldfield Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir

Kim Marcus, Wine Spectator, March 2019

“Delicate, with a core of macerated red cherry and crushed raspberry flavors that are pure and juicy. Mineral and spice notes come in on the lithe finish. Drink now through 2023. 767 cases made.”
