- 2004 Hunterdon chosen by Pinot Report in the Top 12 Pinot Values of 2006 with a score of 91. (May 15, 2007)
- In Baltimore’s Sun Herald & Baltimore Sun, Michael Dresser names Hunterdon’s Pinot Noir the “Wine of the Week.” In the review, he states, “It's rare to find a pinot noir with some of the character of an authentic Burgundy at this price, but the people who make Hunterdon pull it off. Don't let the light color fool you; this red wine packs a lot of flavor - cassis, black cherry and a subtle earthiness. The finish is impressively long, and the balance of fruit and acidity is impeccable. Serve with roast chicken or seared tuna steak.” (March 2007)
- Wine Adventure/Canada reviews: “Pinot Noir-lovers Michael and Tina Cox have produced an open-now, fruit-forward wine with rich cherry fruit that's inspired by the crus of southern Burgundy. Typical of Pinots, it's great with many kinds of food, and perfect with pan-seared lamb chops accompanied by roasted new potatoes and asparagus. For a sauce, add to the lamb droppings a splash of Pinot, cup of veal stock, your choice of chopped fresh herbs and garlic and reduce.” (June 2006)
